Why some of the people not willing to support the non cooperation movement

Few Indians like kings and early nationalists had complete faith on British sense on justice and fair play , they relied on the pledges made by the British and thus they did not support the non cooperation movement. Later when they got to know the truth they started supporting the non cooperation movement and which is also called the biggest mass movement .
