some solid matter can be changed to liquid state by applying heat because heat energy breaks down the strong intermolecular force of attraction between atoms in matter and their intermolecular space increase and kinetic energy too which leads to change in state

ans. \\ solid \: matter \: can \: be \: changed \: into \: liquid \: \: state \: by \: heating \: because \\ by \: heating \: temp \: increase \: and \: forces \: between \: solid \: decreases \: which \: convert \: the \: solid \: into \: liquid \: . \\ i.e. \: increase \: in \: temp \: is \: inversely \: proportional \: to \: the \: force \: of \: attraction \:
it also due to k.E increases which increases intermolecular energy and gaps is increases and it changed to liquid
