Why somecountry not have constitutional law in written form?

Some countries such as the UK has no written constitution because the laws, legislations and policies are made, executed and justified by the state bodies themselves, meaning every state has different laws and legislations. Because the laws are followed by every citizens diligently and are apparently understood, there is no need for written documentation.
