Why sometimes get infection in the urethra of boys but not in urethra of girls?

The urethra is a tube that allows urine to pass through .in men it is a long tube that runs through penis . it also carries semen in men .in women it is short and just above the vagina . urethral problems may be causing due to ageing ,illness or injury .they include urethral camcer that rarely happens in men.
