Why sometimes we take displacement as distance though they are not same as in a case where the question is.. A particle is moving along a circular path of radius 5m with uniform speed of 5 m/s. The avg acceleration of particle in 1/2 revolution is.. Ans:- 10/π

every displacement is distance whereas

every distance is not displacement. In circular orbit the displacement is 0 while distance is not.
