why sound cannot travel through vacuum or through outer space

The sound mover when the vibration is felt between particles of matter.
The matter particles strike each other and allows the sound to travel
While in vacuum the particles of matter are suked and there is no conductor therefore the sound is not able to travel

Because there are no particles in the vaccum for the propagation of sound.
