Bothbathrooms and empty rooms don't tend to have curtains, or carpets or soft furnishings or other things that absorb a lot of sound....and due to this,reflection of sound occurs at a large rate ...also due to low temperature in bathrooms speed of sound becomes slow that decreases the minimum distance required for formation of an echo...so echo is often heard in bathrooms.....
one main reason is also lack of soft things like carpets, clothes...
so, multiple reflection of sound occurs....
