Why south-east india recives rainfall in winter

In winter season north-east trade winds cause rains in the south eastern India ,mainly the Coromandel coast of India. These winds take moisture from bay of Bengal.

the south east India receive rainfall because the winds of sea bay of bengal carry moist air and enter in southwest of india and bring rainfall in winter season
