Brahmaputra flows east to west until it merges with Ganga. Then they flow from north to south. Only rivers of south generally flow west to east from tall western ghats to sea via Deccan plaateau bringing much needed water to the rain shadow areas of south India, making many areas fertile and inhabitable.♥️
