Why space loaks dark and black and earth has light?

earth has no light of its own it's just the rays being scattered by the different layers of atmosphere which receives these rays whereas space is infinite and consist of no such layer.

Actually the whole space is dark cold place. The stars like our sun (Solaris)
light up the galaxies . There are millions of star which gives light to its constituent solar system. The light from the sun lights up earth.
Without the stars and suns no planet in each solar system will have its light . The light of these plants is the reflection of light from the sun.
