As specific heat capacity depends on "per unit mass" and different materials have different number of particles per unit mass.

Specific heat depends upon the density of the body or any liquid .Thus Specific Heat is directly proportional to the density.Or in simple words more the number of particles in an unit area more is the storing capacity of heat.
