Why specific resistance in semiconductor decreases with temperature?

Explanation:

when the temperature is increased the forbidden gap between the two band became very less and the clectron move from the balance band to the conduction band thus when the temperature is increased in a semiconductor the density of the charge carries also increase and definitely the specific resistivity decreases ..!
