Why sperm cells do not undergo cell cycle?

A sperm is made through the process of spermatogenesis. This process starts with a spermatogonium which will undergo mitosis and meiosis to form spermocytes. Eventually, it will differentiate into a sperm cell. Once it is a sperm cell, it will no longer undergo cell division as it is a mature cell.
