Answer:

Stars don't Twinkle actually. They appear

to be twinkling when seen from the

earth. Generally this phenomenon is

observed during night.

The atmosphere of the earth is not of

same density in all layers. It's density

varies as we go inside.

When the start light enters the earth, it

meets wind , different temperatures and

densitiesdue to which the atmospheric

refraction differs.

Due to this changing density of the earth

at different layers, the star appears as

twinkling when seen from Earth. The star

light fluctuates due to the changing

atmospheric refraction.
