Stars twinkle at night
Looking at the glowing stars in the sky, we feel as if they are not shining continuously, they stop flashing every second. But there is no such thing. The stars are constantly shining uniformly.
In fact, the light emitted from the stars has to face the barriers in the atmosphere before it reaches our eyes. So their light keeps on distracting in the way, they cannot reach us directly.

Explanation:
The stars twinkle in the night sky because of the effects of our atmosphere. When starlight enters our atmosphere it is affected by winds in the atmosphere and by areas with different temperatures and densities. This causes the light from the star to twinkle when seen from the ground.
