Why steam causes more severe burn than boiled water although both have 100 C temperature?

Because the molecules of steam attack more fastly than molecule of boiled water

Steam causes more severe burn than boiled water because since steam is in gaseous form all particles are very far from each other so when they fall on our body they accquire large Surface area that's why it causes more severe burn at 100°C whereas in liquid they are quite closer to each other so they accquires less surface area when falls on body & causes less severe burn
