Why steam produce seiver burn as compared to boiling water?

This happens bcoz when steam at 100°C touches our body it condenses and changes to water 100°C we feel the heat two times and whereas on the other hand when hot water at 100°C touches our body we feel the heat once.

Therefore by this we can conclude that as by steam our body experiences heat 2 times and by water once steam causes more seviour burns than water.
