Ans:  Muscular tissues are of three kinds namely striated muscles, unstriated muscles and cardiac muscles.

Striated muscles are featured with repeated units of sarcomers  which gives this muscle tissue a striated appearance. These striations in muscle are essential for its contraction and relaxation during the movement.Hence without striation, skeletal muscle is not able to perform its function.
