Heyy mate.. Here's your answer..
The last strike by transport employees or government employees happened in 2004. It was suppressed with a Iron fist by late CM J Jayalalitha. The TN Govt passed an act called TESMA ( TN Essential services maintenance act) which was later adopted by the rest of the country as ESMA.So there are no recent strikes that are happening in Tamil nadu..

Because casteism is has not been completely finished
The basic reason is that the social discrimination going in our society
Racism led to the disintegration in the country
So this leds to the disintegration in society as well as clashes, strikes and protest against government.
