Sublimation is the process of change of state from solid directly into vapour. As there is no change in the composition of the compound just a change of state, sublimation process is a physical change. Ammonium chloride decomposes into ammonia and hydrochloric acid at its sublimation temperature.
hence its a physical as well as chemical change

we know that sublimation is the conversion of a substance from solid to vapour so in physical change the composition of nh4cl doesn't change so it is physical but as the it decomposes into ammonia it can also be considered as chemical change
