unfortunately, water is a compound that is very difficult to remove from many compounds ,because they are either holding on to it well (i. e.. alcohols) or the compound itself is stem volatile..
please thanks me

MgCl2 AND CaCl2 CANNOT BE USED TO REMOVE WATER FROM ALCOHOL AS THEY FORM AN ADDITION COMPOUND WITH ALCOHOL.
Explanation:
- Dehydrating agents are those which are capable of removing water molecules from a compound.
- These absorbs the water molecules and make it anhydrous.
- Calcium chloride and magnesium chloride are dehydrating agents but when used with alcohol to dehydrate them, they form an addition compound with alcohol instead of removing water.
- Calcium chloride forms and Magnesium chloride forms MgCl2-ethanol adduct.
- This is whey they can't be used to remove water from alcohol.
