There are two kond of provisions in the constitution.
- Substantive provisions
- Procedural provisions.
The role of substantive provisions is to clarify the what all actions have to be taken, what all rights to be granted etc
It also covers as to how to define and interpret any term.
Law of contracts is a substantive law as it defines what an agreement is , legally binding obligations and what are not legal .
How ever the Criminal procedure code falls under the defination of procedural law as it defines the procedure tk be followed in any governmental institution .
