why sugar is not an electrolyte like salt

bcuz it dosen't hv the acidicity to active the water

Here, we know that common salt ( Nacl) .

when we dissolve it in water, then , it dissosiate Na+ & Cl- ions.

That Na+ ions is responsible to carry charge .

But, the sugar doesn't dissociate it's ions. so it doesn't conduct electricity.
