Sugarcane is not grown intemperate lands because:
sugarcane is a plant which requires hot, humid climate with good amount of rainfall. To grow it needs an optimum temperature of 32℃ -38℃.
So good sugarcane production can only be done in tropical regions where the climate favours all condition for the growth of sugarcane.
