Sun called a star because it is the ball of burning fire and stars are also the balls of burning fire but they are much far away from the earth that is why we are unable to see them in the day and the sun shines brightly in the day and I closer to the earth as compared to stars so due to its heat and light a are unable to see the stars in the day time
