It is dangerous to connect a switch in neutral wire:-

Reason:-

• A switch connected in neutral wire in the on position it allows current to flow through the appliance and in off position no current p@sses through appliance.

• In the off position of the switch the appliance remain connected to high potential terminal through the líve wire.

• There will be no return path for the current.

• In this condition it is not safe to carry out any appliance because on touching the Líve wire terminal of the appliance the current will p@ss through the body of the first person and he or she may get fatal shock.

• In chance the líve wire touches the metallic body of the appliance then by touching the appliance we can get shock.
