Symbols are the representation of the various parties the candidate are contesting an election. Each of the candidate who are contesting an election has their own symbol.
Symbol are necessary for the party because symbol is an image which will stay in the long term memory of the candidate and it will help them to recognise to the party they are voting for. Even the disabled people can vote for their candidate by recognising them with their respective symbol.
