why taste of milk is sweetish??

Most likely its because the lactose (milk sugar) has not frozen, but is dissolved in the liquid milk. ... Why does milk left out for a while tastesweeter? Why does milk sold in U.S. supermarkets taste much sweeter than those sold in UK and Europe?
