Really?
Probably my teapots don’ t count, since I am a teapot collector. But I don’ t have a truly white teapot. I have a blue on white, a red on (almost) white, a blue and white with tranparent glass inserts, a few glass teapots, metal teapots (steel, cast iron), cream-colored porcelain teapots, many yixing ceramic teapots (purple, brown, sand, red, green), celadon (green, gray), etc.
Looking at google images, the first displayed page, not even 1 in 5 can be called white. And in amazon . com or amazon . co . uk even less.
Bone china teapots are often white. But because bone china is white porcelain. And many aren’t, being painted.
I visited recently the porcelain collection in Belvedere, Schlossgarten Charlottenburg in Berlin, there were white teapots, but not the majority.
Maybe many teapots in public houses are white, for simplicity. But I doubt that most are. Searching starbucks teapot confirms. Probably if you correctly qualify your question, it might make sense, and the answer might be that white teapots are easier to clean and appear cleaner.

Generally tea pots are white in colour because the liquids or any food material remains hot in the shiny containers
