India is an agicultural country where about 2/3rd of the population are engaged in this field.
Hence it is important that around development has to be made.
Reforms of crop insurance, establishments of cooperative societies and grameen banks are some institutional reforms that can ensure farmers don't suffer after flood or drought.
Better irrigation facilites, improved seeds, fertillizers and farming techniques can ensure better crops.
