⊕The rate of evaporation is directly proportional to Temperature because as the temperature increases, the energy of the particles increases. Due to increases in energy, particles start to break intermolecular bonding and evaporates.

⊕The rate of evaporation is directly proportional to the surface area because as the surface area increases, molecules of fluid now able to connect with air molecules on large scale.

⊕The rate of evaporation is directly proportional to wind speed because as the wind speed increases, it fastly removes the already evaporated particles making more space for new molecules to evaporate.

⊕The rate of evaporation is inversely proportional to humidity because as the humidity increases there remains less space for new molecules to evaporate.

✔TEMPERATURE - In summer if temperature increases, the rate of evaporation also increases.

☞Example:- Spray the water with a sprayer on the floor, you will observe that the water will evaporate fast than it evaporates in winter.

✔SURFACE AREA - In summer if the surface area increases the rate of evaporation also increases.

☞Example:- The tea in a cup cools in more time than it cools down in a plate.

✔WIND SPEED - In summer if the wind speed increases the rate of evaporation also increases.

☞Example:- Hang the wet cloths outside when the speed of wind is high, you will observe that the cloths will dry faster as than the normal day.

✔HUMIDITY - If the humidity increases, the rate of evaporation decreases.

☞Example:- Hang the wet cloths outside when the humidity is high, you will observe that the cloths will dry slower than the normal day.
