Why testes are present in extra abdominal

in testes spermatogenesis takes place.....
spermatogenesis requires temperature slightly less than body temperature ( 2-2.5°C ) .... hence testes are extra abdominal...

Why testes in man are extra abdominal in position?

1. To facilitate the sperm formation.
2. Sperm formation & their maturation needs a temperature 3 degree Celsius lower than the body temperature.
