Testes is the one who produce sperms in males.
The sperms survive at a temperature just below the normal temperature of a human. Sperms survive at 32°C to 34°C.
If the testes were intra abdominal the sperms would certainly die because of the body temperature ; i. e 37°C .
This is the reason why testes are extra abdominal in position.
