In India, the population growth before 1921 was not that much stable.

Sometimes the population rate got increased and sometimes it got decreased.

So there is no usual trend.

But after 1921 to 1951 the rate of the population got increased year by year in India.

So this period is called the 'Population Divide'.

After this period the population rate is increased year by year.

The maximum population in India is regarded in the 2007 census.

So the year 1921 is also known as the year of Demographic Divide.
