The people who is dark is living in the place where it is full of sun environment and the dark pigmentation protects from DNA damage and absorbs the right amount of UV radiation needed by the body.

→  Africans have dark skin tone because of their climatic conditions. Due to

Evolution skin has different shades or colour from black to white.

→ The main reason they have black skin is due to the fact that they live

near the equator.

→ Near the equator there is more sunlight, so they are black.

→ As we now know that sunlight causes skin burn and cancer, if we are in

the sun all the time.

→ Due to sun rays the skin become day by day darker and darker..

⇒ So that's y  the Africans have dark skin tone...!!
