why the ammeter reading decreases to one half when length of wire is doubled??? plz answer fast...​

Explanation:

the Resistance of the wire is directly proportional to the length of the wire so, if the length is doubled, resistance becomes double.

Also resistance is inversely proportional to the current hence the current decreases

R=V/I
