Why the amount of gas collected on Cathode is more as compared to Android

When we do electrolysis of water which is H2O, then we find that positive ions move towards cathode and negative move towards anode. Here hydrogen is positive so, it will move towards cathode and oxygen is negative so, it will move towards anode. Now, here we see that Hydrogen concentration is more than Oxygen (ratio is 2:1) so, the gas collected on cathode will be more than gas collected on anode.
