Potash alum is KAl (SO4)2. In aqueous medium due to hydrolysis of Al3+ is acidic than nature.

When Al3+ ions are solvated by water molecules their high pulled electron density towards them, making electron density between O-H in solvating water molecules become less.Protons are therefore more likely to be abstracted by water.

Becz, potash alum.is(so^4)2
in aq.solu. Medium due to hydrolysis of al3+is in acidic in nature when al3+ hons are solvate in water their molebule will be high pulled electron density toward them making electron density and protons are therfrore more likely to be abstracted by water.
