The most common way to increase the production is making more land come under agricultural sector.

In India, however, already a huge amount of land is under it. So, an alternative method is to get all the fields irrigated properly which is yet to be achieved and a lot of crops don’t give their potential results due to lack of irrigation.

Therefore the area under irrigation should be increased.
