Why the arteries are deeply seated in the body ? Where as viens are seated on peripherical part of the body ?

arteries are deeply seated because arteries carry high speed blood and so arteries have which walls compared to viens . viens carry low speed so they have thin walls. because of which walls arteries are deeply seated in the body
