Copper ion solution is blue in color. During electrolysis copper ions migrate towards cathode for reduction. Therefore concentration of copper ions decreases in the solution hence the blue color fades.

Hi Friend, here is your answer

Ans:- The blue colour of Copper Chloride gradually fades out during electrolysis as the Copper and Chloride ions get detached from each other and so the Copper Chloride gets gradually decreasing and so its colour also fades out.

Hope this helps.
