why the bond strength is in this order : F-F less than H-H less than H-F ?

H-H has higher bond strength than F-F. H-F is a polar compound due to difference in the electronegativity of H and F. F being more electronegative ​pulls the electrons towards itself and as a result F acquires a delta negative charge and H a delta positive.
