why the camel run fast comparison the horse in the desert

Camels are slightly slower than horses because they can only reach speeds of around 20 to 25 miles per hour while horses have an average gallop speed .

the sand of desert has a sinking property now the bases of the hooves is less made for the hard ground so if it walks on sand its hooves has less surface area hence it exerts more pressure on the sand so it can't walk properly
whereas the legs of camel have a large surface area so it exerts less pressure on the sands so it walks easily on the sand
