Why the candle is not burn after putting out it in the glass

vedhadammalapati: fire needs oxygen to burn when you put it in the glass it consumes all oxygen. there is no oxygen to consume so the candle will not burn

Answer:

This happens because oxygen in the air inside the glass tumbler is utilized in burning the candle. All the oxygen gets converted into carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide does not support burning and hence candle stops burning.
