why the chromosome number reduced to half in the daughter cell in the mother cell in the muses​

Answer:

since the cell divide into 2 daughter cells it also divides its genetic material but this happens only in meiosis that is reductional division but in mitosis it is equational division hence no of chromosomes remain same

This is because, two daughter cell are formed by the division of one mother cell.
