A clear cloudless day-time sky is bluebecause molecules in the air scatterblue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we looktowards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the bluelight has been scattered out and away from the line of sight.

》》》》》》》》》》》ANSWER:-
The sun's rays(white light) during day is being scattered by particles present in the sky or atmosphere. During day more of small and minute particles are found which only has the ability to scatter small wavelengths i.e., blue shades of light. The red shades are of longer wavelengths and not scattered much.
Blue light scatters much more than red light. Thus we are able to see the blue color of the sky.
