Clergy and Nobles were privileged classes because they had high rank in society. Clergies were Roman Catholic Priests and Nobles were rich people

Clergy were the people who belonged to church and were christians. They enjoyed feudal privileges. They were exempted from paying any tax to the state. They also took tax in the form of tithe from the third estate people.
And
Nobility comprised of people mainly running the state or the country. They were ministers, chiefs of the country. They also enjoyed feudal privileges. They took tax from the third estate people in the form of taille.
