the dust particles or molecules air scatter the light having smaller wavelength . the smaller wavelength light scatter more .

blue colour is sensitive to our eye then the violet colour therefore the sky appears blue to an observer on earth .

the danger signals are red in colour because it is less scattered and can be seen at a large distance.
