why the colour of sky is only blue .......why not other colour. ​

A clear cloudless day-time sky is blue because molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light. When we look towards the sun at sunset, we see red and orange colours because the blue light has been scattered out and away from the line of sight....

ANSWER

colour of sky is not only blue may be it red or some other classes

actually there is a category in which these classified note these different from rainbow. rainbow is a different catogary.

reason :- according to rayleigh formula

scattering intensity imversly proportional to 4th power of wavelength

and our air contain many type of tiny particles such as water vapour, dust, photochemical, classic smog etc

so blue light is scattered most.

and reach our eyes. as we know by laws of optics that for a object to be seen reflected ray reach to our eyes.

that why sky appears blue most of the time.
