when zn rod is dipped in Cu solution it will displace Cu from CuSO4 and will form ZnSO4 which is colourless.
reaction -
Zn + CuSO4 ---> ZnSO4 + Cu
reaction -
Zn + CuSO4 ---> ZnSO4 + Cu

Hello yaar,
When the Zinc rod is dipped in CuS04 solution displacement reaction takes place i.e, Zinc displaces copper to form zinc sulphate solution. Due to this reaction the colour of the solution becomes colourless.
